whats up?
so its been a few days since i last reported. im officially all moved in. all my bags are unpacked, and ive already done laundry. so its official. my roommate is steve, a kid from NY/NJ area. ive been taking advantage of still not having class by going to the beach and being lazy. im also still trying to figure out how to not get burnt at the beach... work in progress. the sun does not seem to care about sunscreen. at least im not the only one. anyway so in like 15 minutes im going to go over to my campus and try to get a sense of where everything is, find my classes, and get my schedule printed out. also got to get the bus timed so im not late for class.
today is the first day that the weather is not beautful. its hazy/rainy, but still warm. ill take it over the wintery crap weather back home. no such thing as snow here (at least not in sydney).
i cant remember if i mentioned this at all but the view from my apartment is absolutely perfect. you have the city sky line and the harbor.
the only thing that i have had trouble with is keeping up with sports from back home. i think the celtics are still doing well, i have no idea about spring training, and the pats have made news here (espn.com) with that cassell trade but that is about it. you can all feel free to keep me updated in some way. the interent here is really slow, the whole area is at like an overload so the internet is very flakey. i got some pics up on facebook of about half of the new zealand trip. the only way that i have found to get pics up is to load them like 10 at a time, which is a very long process. so for those of you that dont have facebook, im working on getting them up soon. hopefully when school starts ill have time that im not doing anything. its funny to say that but when classes start there are a few days where im going to be stuck on campus all day, so maybe ill be able to get some pics up then.
anyway i have to get going, meeting some friends in 10 minutes to walk campus and try to be productive.
hope all is well in the states, and everywhere else that you are reading this from
cheers
