SO BORED... part II (the final day)

This is my last day in America for about 5 months. That is totally mind blowing. Less than 24 hours from now I will be some where between Boston and LA, most likely in Chicago waiting for my connection to LA.

The more I think about it, the fact that I am actually (finally) going to Australia for almost 5 full months has not really hit me. I'm going to be legit on the other side of the PLANET, that's just nuts. My day tomorrow will probably start way too early due to the inability to sleep. My flight leaves Boston at 12:35PM, I have like a 40 minute lay over in Chicago, and then I get to LA around 5:30, I'm assuming that is west coast time. And then from there I have 6 hours to waste before my flight to Sydney leaves. I will most likely be finding a sports bar in the air port, grab a brew or two (three maybe...? don't worry mom and dad I'll be careful and all that) and watch the NBA all-start game with a few buddies of mine that are going on the same flight.

I'm going to try to make these posts as regular as possible. Given that not every day will bring enough excitement to write about, so while there will be some gaps there will be more than enough things to write about. I can't wait to be able to add some pics to these blogs of all the amazing things I will be doing, most of which I can't even begin to fathom. This trip is truly going to be one of those rare life changing experiences that will affect me in so many ways throughout my life, and the things that I experience I will someday be able to tell my children about. Yea thats jumping the gun quite a bit but I have found that thinking about that kind of stuff is an amazingly efficient way of wasting time (how sad is that... that is how bored I have become over these past few weeks).

Ok well I have to finish packing and then find a few other things to help pass the remaining hours before I leave tomorrow. Its so close I can taste the barbie (sp?) in the outback and all that. LETS GO
